Easter Weekend
Yoga and Meditation Retreat...

"CHAKRAS IN DEPTH", in theory and practice, with Yoga, Meditation and the original Indian Yoga teachings (non-westernised)...

The subtle energy centres in the spine, fundamental to an advanced understanding of Yoga and Meditation.

Sat 7 April to Mon 9 April,
7am to 12 noon each day,

50 Market Street, Melbourne, 3000.

The following are some of the questions which will be tackled and answered over the Melbourne Cup weekend Yoga and Meditation Retreat.

1. Its hard for me to focus. What are the techniques or steps to get me started and keep me going?

2. I find it difficult to meditate on various centres in the body. I need to know how many chakras are there, where exactly are they in the body? And what is the importance of each one?

3. How do I know if I am focussing on the right point (centre)?

4. How am I supposed to feel at each centre, once I am able to hold my attention at that chakra?

5. When You say move your focus from mind to solar plexus centre, if my focus keeps going back to mind with every possible trivial useless talk, how can I stop my mind and come back to the focus area?

When: Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 7am to 12noon daily (afternoons and evenings free time) - breakfast break 9 to 10am.

Retreat Theme: Yoga and Meditations on the Chakra Centres of the human being. A human being is one step up in a hierarchy from 'man'. An understanding and practical experience of spinal Chakra centres is a valuable method of realising this maxim.

The Retreat will involve physical posture practice from 7am to 9am each day, followed by the meditation and study practices and technique from 10am to 12noon - the ways to find, feel and know the chakras. We will follow the true classical Indian tantric and symbolic approach and rationale and include practices in posture, breathing, concentration, meditation, and samadhic contemplation.

Many meditators have a 'conceptual' understanding of chakras, what they 'think' they are... This weekend retreat at the Yoga Studio in Market Street will give techniques to the 'feeling', and what to expect when you hit the jackpot.
